We live in an age that rewards looking away. Our screens and our comfort quietly train us to pass by suffering without really seeing it, not because we're cruel, but because we've grown indifferent. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, two religious men see a wounded stranger and cross to the other side, while an outsider stops, sees him, and helps at real cost to himself. This week we're asking what goodness actually looks like. Is it just being nice, or is it something harder and more costly, a willingness the Spirit gives us to stop and actually pay attention to the people in front of us.
