Tap Youth
We desire to see youth grow in relationship with God and their church family, serve with love and shine Christ’s light in the world.
Youth Group on Friday Nights
Youth in middle and high school (Grades 6-12) meet at the church on Friday nights from 7-9 pm. We play fun and engaging games to get us warmed up (games in the dark are the best!), we break for snacks and drinks and then a short message is shared. We end the night by gathering in small groups for meaningful discussion and/or a spiritual practice in response to the message.
Some Friday nights we head out into the community instead of meeting at the church. You might find us on a scavenger hunt in a local park, trying to get out of an escape room or playing Capture the Flag on the school playground down the street.
Small Groups
High School students (Grades 9-12) meet every second Wednesday at the church for small groups; one for the guys and one for the girls. These groups are safe spaces to encounter Jesus and grow in faith with friends and leaders.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday mornings are a wonderful opportunity for youth to discover and share their gifts and abilities with their church family. Many of our youth serve in Tap Hop by preparing and serving snacks after the service. Others are greeters, serve on the Broadcast AV team or are helpers in various Sunday School classes. There are opportunities for the youth to volunteer with our Tap Kids summer camp as well. When not serving alongside others in the church family, youth stay in the service.
