Land & Building Stewardship
Maintaining our Green and Brown spaces for spiritual growth.
Tapestry Mundy Park is blessed to have lush land and a beautiful building for the church and community to enjoy. We are always looking for ways to ensure that the use of our land and building is optimized and that the surrounding community feels welcome to enjoy our green and brown spaces as a place for worship, discipleship, community, and mission.
Thanks to the generous donations and volunteer efforts received over the past few years, the church has been able to carry out many new updates and renovations. It is a continual effort to maintain and improve our facilities and we are thankful of the support our community has provided. Community engagement is important to the Church.
In recent years we have added amenities to the outdoor space for everyone to enjoy including:
Community garden beds where everyone is welcomed to plot a small garden. We have a large property and have room for many individual garden plots. If you would like to have a garden plot reserved for you, please contact us.
A trail network in our forest. We encourage the community to use the trails and enjoy the outdoor space in a respectful manner.
Picnic benches for gatherings. No reservations currently required.
Basketball court will be installed in the summer of 2025.
Ball Hockey nets will become available in the summer of 2025.

Our church has been exploring ways to hold the 2 acres of land that we inhabit in ways to increase the flourishing of our church and neighborhood.
Our Land Stewardship Task Force released a report in 2023 outlining various development possibilities based on the needs of our growing congregation and the needs of our neighborhood.
