Serving Families and Children with Free Tutoring and Homework Help
Blue Sky Learning Lab was an idea that germinated during Covid. A group of us chatted online and brainstormed ways that we could serve families and children with free tutoring or homework help.
Our dream was and is to provide practical help to our church family and ultimately to our surrounding community. At present, we have several volunteers ranging from high school age to retirement age. We meet Monday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 for a homework club. We have some church families who attend.
Our goal is to reach out and to build a relationship with the local neighborhood. We have also organized a robotics camp and are looking ahead to plan another one day event.
