Care

The care ministry seeks to be a strong and compassionate support for the church, offering heartfelt care and practical help to lift people’s spirits and ease their struggles. It creates a welcoming space where everyone can experience the power of faith and love together, while also respecting and keeping people’s confidences private.

What the Care Team Does

  • Visit and pray with seniors who live alone (and may not get out much), the sick and the bereaved

  • Bring flowers to the sick and the bereaved

  • Set up meal trains to help church members who may not have time to make their own meals, such as parents with new born babies or the sick or the bereaved

  • Follow up on how members are doing after praying for and giving them practical help

  • Benevolent fund: assess petitioners and oversee the disbursement process
