Charis Camp has been running camps, and hosting the community in Chilliwack, since 1947. Throughout the years, the facility has seen many improvements to the camp and sought to create new spaces for people to come & grow, explore & experience Jesus. FAQs (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)
How & When can I register?
Register in person after the Service on Sundays. Early bird registration starts Feb 15th. Pricing goes up by $10/person after April 12th. The last day to register is April 26th.
What should I pack?
Clothes, beddings (linens & blanket or sleeping bag, pillow), towels, toiletries, Notebook, Bible, indoor shoes, water bottle.
Optional: hiking shoes, board games, sporting equipment, swimsuit.
Can I make my own meals?
No cooking is allowed. Charis will provide all meals, coffee & tea. But feel free to bring extra snacks.
Can I attend only part of the retreat?
We believe that you will benefit most by attending the full retreat. However if circumstances do not allow that, talk to us and we’ll see what we can do.
Can I choose who to room with?
Yes you can! Please indicate when you register.
Is there internet at the retreat centre?
Yes there is Wi-Fi on site. Although we do encourage everyone to “unplug” as much as possible.
Do we have to share bathrooms?
Each room will have its own bathroom(s)
Can I invite people who doesn’t come to our church?
Yes, we would love to meet them!
Is there a children’s program?
Yes! There will be a fun-filled children’s program throughout the retreat. AND we will also have a Youth program too!
What activities are available at Charis Camp?
Archery, wall climbing, swimming, hiking trails, playground, open gym, camp fire, indoor activity room (foosball, ping pong, etc.)
